SMALL FOOTPRINT
Sciaky’s New Generation Welding System’s lean design requires much less shop space. We’ve also provided the EB welder with a new, more compact and flexible vacuum system and made the entire unit easier to maintain.
The NG1-EVO is so easy to use it makes all previous EB systems obsolete. Intuitive operator interfaces with pull-down menus and color graphics simplify the EB process more than ever before. Your existing shop staff can quickly and easily learn to operate and maintain the NG1-EVO in a fraction of the time it took for less sophisticated EB systems. Our new PC based control system takes advantage of our extensive experience using integrated CNC motion and process controls. With the capability of more than 10 axes of motion control, the system synchronizes the process parameters tighter than any welding system control in the industry. Capabilities include process monitoring with data acquisition, networking and off-line programming. Open architecture allows for easy upgrading. System diagnostics, hard drive and three levels of program access for security are included.

COST-EFFICIENT POWER SUPPLY
NG1-EVO is 95-98% energy-efficient. Our new solid-state power supply is engineered to be a smaller unit that operates more efficiently. Improved current and voltage quality as well as improved weld quality are provided by the new design.
LOW-MAINTENANCE ELECTRON BEAM GUN
Sciaky’s exclusive electron beam gun package provides an improved narrow beam geometry that produces superior depth-to-width ratios and operational stability. Requiring very little maintenance, EB filaments can be easily changed out in about 10 minutes.
PRECISION OPTICAL VIEWING SYSTEM
Our viewing system features high-resolution, precision gun optics with CCD camera and monitor. Optic focus, shutter, and iris controls and an electronic adjustable cross-hair are built in. A laser height measurement system can also be implemented to provide an automatic gun-to-work distance detection.
